The school is predominantly based at The Desford Brass Band House in Coalville, Leicestershire, however, an additional pre-school class takes place at The Hermitage Leisure Centre where it all began. Classes run in term time only with additional workshops running in the Easter and Summer holidays. We produce a whole school show every 18 months. Children aged 6 and over are invited to take RAD Ballet exams and ISTD Tap exams which are held roughly every 18 months.

Welcome to the Megan Lewis School of Dance, a Coalville based dance school, held in a professional and friendly environment and run by a registered teacher and graduate of the Royal Academy of Dance, Megan Harris BA (Hons) Ballet Education RAD RTS.
The school's aims are:

To provide dance education incorporating life skills including self-discipline, respect, resilience, positive self-image and humility;

To train all who attend to the highest possible standard appropriate to the individual;

To cater to the personal needs of individuals, in order to provide the most enjoyable dance experience possible;

The Megan Lewis School of Dance was established in 2009, beginning with just four children in one pre-school class at The Hermitage Leisure Centre. In 2019 we celebrated our 10th Anniversay with out biggest and best show yet! We now have over 160 students.
